FORTHCOMING PREMIERE OF “3 KOSOVOS: IMAGINING THE FUTURE OF KOSOVO”

The Security and International Relations Programme at the University of Westminster is delighted to announce the forthcoming premiere of a new documentary “3 Kosovos: Imagining the Future of Kosovo” on the 17th November 2011. The event will be introduced by Dr Aidan Hehir and a question and answer session with the director will follow the screening.

3 Kosovos: Imagining the Future of Kosovo
Initially, the elegy of three young Kosovars dancing at dusk seems to anticipate the spectre of ancient hatreds and hopeless dreams.
However, amidst their frantic stories, a sense of something radically new is ubiquitous.
There is joy, passion and anger.
There is a complexity to their thoughts which confounds old images about Kosovo.
War and peace are over.
Now, it is difficult to imagine a future.
But it is their duty, and Kosovo is young...

Directed by Albert Kuhn and Pol Bargues
